With the 2014 World FITASC Veteran’s Champion title among his list of clay shooting achievements, Dave Carrie’s reputation as one of the best is firmly cemented.

Well known both on the international clay shooting circuit and in UK game shooting, Yorkshireman Carrie is regarded as one of the best high pheasant shots in the country. Gamebore is proud to produce Dave’s first choice of cartridges - Black Gold Dark Storm with Quad Seal for both clay and game.

A relative late-comer to target shooting, Carrie didn’t shoot his first clay pigeon until the age of 38 when he discovered he had a natural talent for it, despite never having heard of the sport until then. Having lost his left eye at the age of 11 in an air rifle incident, Carrie overcomes this challenge to excel in his sport time and time again.

Carrie won his first FITASC at Gurston Down, winning B class and coming 7th overall. This spurred him on to continue in the clay discipline and later to move into game shooting as well.
