George Digweed Sets the Targets at the 2018 World English Sporting Championships

George Digweed MBE is designing the course for the 2018 World English Sporting Championship at EJ Churchill.

Gamebore ProShot George Digweed MBE is busy preparing for the 2018 World English Sporting Championships, this time not as a competitor, but as the course setter for the prestigous event taking place at E J Churchill. Although no stranger to the environment of world class sporting targets, this is new territory for him as he is usually seen shooting the targets (often ending up on the winner's podium) and not setting them.

"To take myself out of that competitive environment was a difficult decision for me as I still feel asthough I'm good enough to compete at the highest level, but it's an interesting thing for me to do and I'm really looking forward to the challenge of taking the targets and the whole event to a new level. I think I can create a world class event with the team at E J Churchill. It's a fantastic team and a fantastic facility and we intend to put on a shoot that people will be talking about for a long time"

Twenty-six times World Champion George is looking forward to welcoming shooters from across the globe and putting on an event for all to enjoy "As for the targets themselves, we will be catering for everybody. It's not just for the top 100 shots in the world. It's about everybody from C Class through to Ladies, Juniors, Super Veterans, everybody. There'll also be a few stands that will sort the men from the boys".

We are incredibly proud of George and are honoured to be a main sponsor of the event once again. We will be at E J Churchill from 25th June to 1st July and are looking forward to having the opportunity to meet the people that use our products.

We wish all competitiors the very best of luck!
