Welcome Back Kate!
After a break from competitive shooting, Kate Brown has returned to the circuit and we're thrilled to have her back on Team Gamebore.
We were absolutely thrilled to see Kate Brown earn her place on the winner's podium at the English Open Sporting Championships at High Lodge this weekend. Kates score of 107/120 was enough to secure the top spot in the ladies category, an amazing start to what looks set to be a successful clay season for her.
After taking a break from competitive shooting for several years, Kate made a triumphant return last year at the Gamebore Gold Cup. When she tackled the challenging targets at Westfield, putting in an impressive score of 130/150 to be crowned the Ladies Champion, there's no denying that we were excited to see her back at the top of her game.
Kate had been our top Lady shooter back when her skills earned her the World Sporting Ladies Champion title in 2005 and she was a regular on the podiums at the major championships. We were very keen to welcome her back to team Gamebore, so we were happy to learn that she had chosen to use our White Gold shells upon her return to the sport.
Her place on Team Gamebore was confirmed earlier this year and she certainly made her mark at High Lodge this weekend. We'd like to congratulate Kate on her win at the English Open, no doubt the first of many, and to wish her the very best of luck in her future competitions.
